CYG heat shrink tubing is manufactured from an inner layer of hot melt adhesive and an exterior layer of first-class, soft, cross-linked polyolefin. The exterior layer features an outstanding insulation performance, and is both corrosion and friction resistant. The inner layer features a low melting point, an excellent sealing performance and adhesive performance, and is waterproof. These heat shrinkable products are widely used as insulation for wire bundles, welding applications, and inductances. CYG offers a variety of heat shrink tubing, categorized into single wall heat shrink tubing, dual wall shrink tubing, printable heat shrink tubing, medium-wall/heavy-wall tubing, bus bar tubing and more.
The single wall heat shrink tubing is designed for low pressure and insulating applications where there are no requirements for water resistance. This allows the single wall heat shrink tubing to provide protection to embedded wires and pipes used for transporting a variety of liquids and gasses.
CYG’s dual wall heat shrink tubing is manufactured from an inner layer of hot melt adhesive and an exterior layer of first-class, soft, cross-linked polyolefin. The exterior wall features an outstanding insulation performance, as well as an excellent corrosion and friction resistance. The inner layer features a low melting point, an excellent adhesive and sealing performance, and a waterproof structure.
Medium-wall/heavy wall tubing usually refers to the insulating tubing in cable protection, which have a thicker wall when compared to other types of heat shrink tubing. The dual wall heat shrink tubing is manufactured from polyolefin, thus providing an excellent insulation and mechanical protection. The tubing has higher shrink ratios, making it suitable for the splicing of accessories and wires in a wide range of sizes.
The heat shrink tubing manufactured from elastomer is designed to protect electronic components at elevated temperatures and in oily environments, thereby providing insulation for resistors, capacitors, thermocouple, wire ends, wire joints and terminals, as well as offer mechanical protection to a variety of metal wirings.
Printable heat shrink tubing is used for marking, which is why it is also called printable number tubes, marking tubes or printable sleeves. It is used to distinguish different lines for ease of maintenance and management of printing information on a heat shrink tube after surface treatment.
Heat shrink busbar tubing, including 1kV busbar tubing, 10 kV busbar tubing and 35kV busbar tubing, is made of special polyolefin through a special processing and is used for the insulation production of substation busbars and high /low voltage switchgear busbars due to the extremely high insulation performance. CYG offers heat shrink busbar tubing in a size range of 20 to 200mm for a compact switchgear cabinet structure (reducing phase-phase distance) in order to prevent accidental short circuiting accidents.
