Special Purpose Heat Shrink Tubing

Special materials for this heat shrink tubing includes PTFE, PVDF, elastomer, silicone, FEP, PFA and more.
  • PVDF has an excellent heat, abrasion, mechanical damage and chemical corrosion resistance. It also features an excellent transparency, making it ideal for identifying encapsulation of electronic components and encapsulated components.
  • PTFE is high temperature resistant, semi-transparent, flame retardant and semi-rigid. The operating temperature of PTFE heat shrinkable tubing is -55℃~260℃ and the minimum shrink temperature is 327℃.
  • The heat shrink tubing manufactured from elastomer is designed to protect electronic components at elevated temperatures and in oily environments, provide insulation for resistors, capacitors, thermocouple, wire ends, wire joints and terminals, and to provide mechanical protection for various metal wirings.
  • FEP has an outstanding resistance to high temperatures, low temperatures, diesel and chemical reagents. The FEP heat shrink tubing is mainly used to provide insulation and stress relief for wire harnesses and to prevent electronic devices from damage.
  • The heat shrink tubing manufactured from PFA has an excellent flame and high temperature resistance. This heat shrink tubing has resistance to a temperature up to 260℃. The operating temperature of this heat shrink tubing is -65℃-260℃ and the minimum shrink temperature is 350℃. The shrink ratio of this heat shrink tubing is 1.3:1.
  • The heat shrink tubing manufactured from silicone is designed to provide insulation and shielding for electronic accessories that have special requirements.
